April is a certified birth and postpartum doula through Doula Training International. She is also Gina Kirby Rebozo trained and a Spinning Babies enthusiast. After the birth of her first child, she began to feel the calling of doula work. She feels honored to witness women make informed decisions and become active participants in their care. Before becoming a mother, she was a school teacher and a researcher at heart and loves to learn about all things pregnancy and birth. In addition to doula work, she offers childbirth classes, placenta encapsulation, and cloth diaper classes. As a mom and doula, she recognizes how important this time in your families life is and would love the honor to support you through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
Sarah Baca

Growing families requires support and praise, as a local doula, Sarah is happy to do just that. Before she was a doula, she was a childcare provider, and her passion for supporting families led to doula care. Her very first birth was as a sibling doula in The Woodlands TX, She served Montgomery County for about 4 years as a birth & postpartum doula. She took a DONA workshop and received my Spinning Babies certificate during my time there.
Each birth has taught her something different and every family is incredibly unique, as your doula she will tune in to what you and your family need. Growing families deserve celebration and support because navigating pregnancy and birth can be overwhelming. Her goal is to empower your family with knowledge and support.
Kerri Reynolds
Massage Therapist
Kerri is a licensed massage therapist who has a heart for moms and babies. She has a passion for helping your body heal naturally and is excited to bring prenatal massage to Above the Waves families.
Jasmine Salinas
Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula
Jasmine is a birth and postpartum doula trained through ProDoula. She actually started as a birth client of Above the Waves in 2019 for her second child. She came into the birth of her second child educated and prepared, but was surprised with how much her doula helped to elevate her birth experience. Quickly after, God began to call her to birth work.
Jasmine is passionate about parents making informed decisions. She loves to research and comes into doula work with a wealth of knowledge about birth and child development.
She loves to help families feel supported throughout pregnancy and postpartum. She has experience navigating the NICU and values how important support is during the postpartum period.
Lindsey Dugas
Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator
Lindsey is a BEST certified birth and postpartum doula, as well as a childbirth educator. She first felt the seed being planted in her heart to become a doula after the birth of her first son, but it wasn’t until after the birth of her second son that she dived fully into training and becoming a doula. Educating, serving, and supporting women are some of the things that bring her the greatest joy.
Lindsey is always seeking to learn new things to be able to better support her clients. As your doula, she will work to create a personalized support plan for your specific situation and birth.
She feels truly honored to be pursuing such a special calling and also to be welcomed into each family’s pregnancy journey and sacred birth space.
